5-6-15: This week we wrote about the story elements in one of our book basket books. Then we made a "Gami" in an app called Tellagami. We designed our person and background, then we recorded our voices reading about our story elements. 4-4-15: A few weeks ago we made a PicCollage for arrays. We went around the room and took pictures of real life arrays and then put them into a PicCollage.

3-6-15: This week, we picked a book out of our book baskets and we wrote about the beginning, middle and end of the book. We used an app called Story Kit. We took a picture of the beginning, middle and end of our books. Then we wrote a few sentences to describe each part.
3-1-15: A few weeks ago we made our "Cookie Islands" as a culminating activity for our landform unit. We took a picture of our islands and put them in an app called Doodle Buddy. We used the tools in Doodle Buddy to label our different landforms that we put on our islands.

2-15-15: Last week we celebrated the 100th day of school. The kids brought in collections of 100 items. The took a picture of their collections then made a PicCollage describing their collections. Take a look at our slide show below to see our cool collections!
2-10-15: Last week, we made a 2D and 3D project on the iPads. We used an app called PicCollage. The kids went around the room and took pictures of things that were 2D and 3D. They then put them into PicCollage and labeled them. Take a look at our slide show below to see our creations!!

11-7-14: This week, our iPad project was a verb poster. We created our posters in an app called Pic Collage. The kids had to think of 3 verbs. Then they had to find pictures to represent their verbs. 11-2-14: Last week we did an I am Thankful for project in an app called Pic Collage. The kids thought of four things that they were thankful for. They had to find pictures to represent each thing and had to label each box. Take a look at our slide show below of our Pic Collages.
11-2-14: Last week we made an adjective poster in an app called Draw Free. First, we drew a Halloween symbol, then wrote 4 adjectives to describe it. Take a look at our posters in the slide show below!
10-22-14: This week we designed a pumpkin in Carve a Pumpkin. Then we put it into an app called ChatterPix. We recorded ourselves reading a pumpkin adjective poem that we wrote earlier this week. Click on the videos below to see our creations.
10-21-14: Today we did a project in an app called Word Cloud. The kids had to come up with 10 verbs. They typed their 10 verbs and then typed their name 3 times (the more times a word is typed, the bigger the word gets). Then they could pick their layout, color, and font. 10-19-14: In science, we have been learning about landforms. Last week, our iPad project was using the app Skitch. We had to draw and label 4 landforms that we have learned about. We had to add arrows and then email it to Ms. Short. Take a look at our slide show below.
10-19-14: Two weeks ago we did a StoryKit project. We took the paper that we did in Social Studies, where we wrote about our favorite place in the community and we took a picture of it. 10-8-14: We have been working on our first iPad project. We used an app called Popplet to tell about ourselves. When we were done, we emailed it to Ms. Short and she made a slide show of our Popplets. Take a look below!!
